What decides the price
Two things, mostly. Whether it is registered server memory or unbuffered desktop memory, and the speed printed on the label. At the same capacity those two factors can move the price by a factor of five — a 32GB DDR4-2133 RDIMM and a 32GB DDR4-3200 RDIMM are the same size and are not remotely the same money.
That is why our calculator asks for the speed rather than quoting one figure per capacity. If you are not sure which you have, the label tells you — and RDIMM vs UDIMM covers the difference in a couple of minutes.

Every figure broken out by speed is on the rate list. We do not buy DDR3 or older.
